Governor, it seems we are stuck with a reporting percentage of just under 50%. Sounds like each district needs to have more PORTAL training. However those who need the training are not those coming to the classes. I hope that we as leaders in our district can find a way to influence the clubs and encourage them to report one service project each quarter. This would achieve our district goal and give the club a chance to prove to themselves that this is not such a major hurdle. If I were on the outside looking into Lions International I would say we are not holding up to our motto WE SERVE. Remember the job is not done till the paperwork is finished. Since we don't use paper reports anymore our electronic reporting is our only way of boasting about how good our clubs are. So cabinet members please check the Club Health Assessment Report to see where each club is before you visit. If we do these things we can encourage the clubs to do a better job of reporting.. We all know our clubs are doing things in their communities. And we know each club likes to boast about how good their activity was received in their town. Reporting is easier now than it has been in the past. Please encourage your clubs to do a better job of reporting.
